Learning & Development Manager

As the Learning and Development Manager, Sean leads the L&D team with all strategic efforts and is passionate about student learning. Sean is quickly becoming an expert in Clarity Human Services software's features, applications, and advantages. He collaborates with all Bitfocus teams to coordinate efforts and integrate training resources throughout these efforts. Sean assesses learner needs and develops strategic training plans based on learning science. He designs, develops, delivers, evaluates, and revises all Bitfocus learning content to create new training initiatives and maintain an updated curriculum database and training records. Sean also partners with internal stakeholders coordinating with experts regarding instructional design, measuring, and reporting the results of learning efforts. Sean has a strong background in leading customer relationship initiatives, with expertise in project management, customer service, data transfer projects, training, and QA/testing. He applies this experience to his day-to-day communication and collaboration and assists with onboarding Bitfocus customers and staff, preparing them to launch successfully.

Sean started his career as a meteorologist, and in that time, he came to enjoy helping others make decisions based on the knowledge he could provide. This enjoyment propelled him to seek opportunities in the learning & development field. Sean's micro-learning certificate symbolizes his desire to train with new, practical, and sustainable methods to help others reach their goals. He is certified in Camtasia, ATD Microlearning, and received his Bachelor of Science from Florida State University.
