As Director of Product at Bitfocus, Sarah is responsible for shaping the product strategy and leading the product team. Her role involves gathering and prioritizing product requirements to align with the company’s long-term goals. She collaborates closely with the VP of Strategy and various internal and external stakeholders to create a roadmap that balances risk with opportunity, fostering innovation and supporting Bitfocus’s mission. Sarah fosters a collaborative culture, promoting transparency and encouraging continuous improvement. She works with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of the product roadmap.Sarah has over 20 years of experience in the social services sector, with a focus on technology leadership over the past decade. Sarah is a skilled communicator who has presented at industry conferences like the National Human Services Data Consortium, discussing HMIS and data integration topics. Before joining Bitfocus, Sarah was the Director of Information Services at Seattle Downtown Emergency Service Center (DESC), one of Seattle/King County’s largest homeless response agencies.
