Deputy Project Administrator
As a Deputy Project Administrator on the Community Administration team, Lauryn brings over 4 years of experience in both Emergency Shelter and Coordinated Entry System management. Most recently, as Coordinated Entry System (CES) Manager in San Luis Obispo, CA, Lauryn transformed CES with new initiatives and solutions that directly led to an improved Annual Performance Report, increase of funding opportunities and client's being housed more efficiently and equitably. Additionally, Lauryn established a Policy Committee and workgroups within the Homeless Services Oversight Counsel (HSOC) in the same community to ensure voices of lived experience and subject matter experts were part of critical decisions. Lauryn is passionate about the intersectionality of people's experiences, data and innovation and is looking forward to supporting Bitfocus customers in ending homelessness in their communities.
"Some believe it is only great power that can hold evil in check, but that is not what I have found. It is the small everyday deeds of ordinary folk that keep the darkness at bay. Small acts of kindness and love."
