Community Administration Specialist

As a Community Administration Specialist on the Community Administration Team, Ely brings nearly ten years experience of working with the most vulnerable population in San Francisco. During the height of the COVID 19 pandemic he volunteered to be deployed as a disaster service worker with the COVID Command Center creating the Centralized Referral Process. Through his leadership and collaboration with over fifty Alternative Housing Sites (AHS), across all City departments, and twenty plus Community Based Organizations (CBO). Over 12,000 of the most vulnerable population in San Francisco were directly housed from the streets. Most recently, he managed and deployed the centralization and automation of Critical Incident Reports from all City departments and CBO’s within the AHS and Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH) portfolio. Utilizing his technical background in data analytics to provide concise visualizations and produce quality driven reports to Deputy Directors and Administrative Executives. This data pipeline is now being modeled for deployment to across City departments for its efficiency, analysis & planning to address gaps in the system of care. Whilst building new systems of care he returned to school to bolster his skillset obtaining an Associate of Science in Computer Science and Associate of Science in Science & Mathematics. Currently, completing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science at San Francisco State University. Ely is looking forward to leveraging his years of experience and education to partner with Bitfocus customers, enabling all to achieve success through efficient, solutions-oriented project management.
