Alex Espinosa

Community Project Administration

As a Community Admin Specialist on the Community Administration Team, Alex brings to Bitfocus over ten years of experience in HMIS management and implementation in Dallas and Fort Worth, first for the Tarrant County Homeless Coalition and most recently for Metro Dallas Homeless Alliance as their HMIS Director.  

Alex is well-versed in multiple HMIS software solutions and is an expert trainer and problem solver. She values feedback and loves developing relationships with users. She is passionate about helping all users get the most out of HMIS, so they can best assist those who matter most: the homeless. In addition, Alex has acquired a vast experience in HMIS data reporting and exports required by the US Department of Housing and urban development (HUD) across multiple federal programs, including Continuum of Care, Emergency Solutions Grants, HOPWA, CDBG, SSVF, Etc.
  
Alex holds a bachelor's degree in Modern Languages (English and Spanish) from the Distrital University (Bogota, Colombia).
