The Bitfocus team comprises over 50 dedicated individuals, with our leadership staff alone comprising over 12 members who have led in an administrative or leadership role within a Human Services environment. This depth and breadth of experience lends to our innate ability to connect data to policy in ways that enhance program and system design, bringing you a complete solution. We’re ready to work with you.

Operations

Implementation

The Implementation Team ensures that customers are 100 percent satisfied with their software implementations. Our team provides a highly targeted system implementation approach and timeline to guarantee a successful onboarding of new or existing agencies. Each team member is fully versed in all Federal Partners configuration and reporting requirements. The Implementation Team is also ready to assist the system administrator in not only system configuration, but also identifying the workflow, providing training, and ensuring projects are fully supported for ongoing operation and successful reporting.

Data Services

The Data Services Team provides the tools and assistance necessary to help data-driven communities engage closely with their data. Not only is our team responsible for the migration of legacy HMIS data, but we also offer support in data integration, reporting, data analysis, data quality, data management, data visualization, dashboarding, and analytics. Our team personally ensures each customer has the tools they need to operate the type of data-driven culture that characterizes Bitfocus customers.

Customer Success and Development

The Customer Success and Development Team collectively drives efforts to improve, understand, and deepen our relationship with our customers and key stakeholders. Trained in cross-functional roles, our team provides customers with assistance in all areas. This team comprises four sub-teams: Customer Advocacy, Business Development, Customer Support, as well as Learning and Development (i.e., Training). The breadth of this team ensures that the customer receives the personalized support Bitfocus is known for through each step of their journey, from the first time they learn about Bitfocus products, to demonstrations, through the implementation period, and beyond. The ultimate goal of our team is to reinforce a customer-centric focus in everything we do.

Product Development

The Product Development Team consistently delivers truly exceptional solutions that are tailored for the unique needs and requirements of the Human Services industry. The Product Development Team manages the infrastructure, application, design, and workflows of Clarity Human Services, as well as security verification with customer security teams. We are responsible for transforming complex processes and requirements (i.e. HUD, Federal Agency Partners, coordinated entry, etc.) into user-friendly software features. Furthermore, the team conducts system analysis and optimizes data architecture to improve system performance and regulate budget and cost control.

System Administration

We have our own team of in-house system administrators who serve as the central coordinator of all system administration activities for their respective communities, including the Bay Area, State of Nevada, and King County / Seattle. Our system administrators—and their respective teams of in-house system analysts—coordinate all Bitfocus teams, supporting coordinated entry activities, meeting reporting requirements, ensuring system and data compliance, and providing efficient Helpdesk support and training. With their expertise in system planning, program evaluation, and policy analysis, our system administration teams work with their respective communities to enhance the community-wide effectiveness of services and data systems. Jason Satterfield leads the System Administration Team for the Bay Area (San Francisco, Santa Clara County, and Marin County); Tauri Royce leads the System Administration Team for the State of Nevada, and Sarah Dougherty leads the System Administration Team for King County / Seattle.

As President and CEO of Bitfocus, Robert Herdzik leads our Operations Team. He is devoted to driving the development, design, testing, and modification of the Clarity Human Services application in ways that make it the industry frontrunner. His personalized communication with customers enables him to truly understand their needs and deliver a software solution (Clarity Human Services) that meets both business and service provision objectives. The blend of Robert’s leadership ability, technical skills, and business sense drives his ability to operate Bitfocus as a highly proficient, data-driven firm.

In addition to weekly end user trainings and privacy trainings, our team offers agency management training to provide analysis and guidance on best practices and models to create efficient program management workflow. As our reputation holds, we go above and beyond to make sure all participating agency administrators understand how to use their software to maintain compliance. Our Training Team also publishes training manuals, wikis, video tutorials, and other tools to ensure end users maintain their confidence in their utilization of the system after initial training is over.
