As a Specialist Team Manager in the Community Administration Department, Allie Pope Burger will draw upon her 17 years of public sector experience in program evaluation, project management, data analysis, database development, grant writing, and system administration, primarily in the maternal and child public health field. She has co-authored two publications in peer-reviewed journals. Most recently, in her role as HMIS Data Manager for Montgomery County, PA, Allie was part of a Your Way Home’s Racial Equity projects and was dedicated to the CoC’s data efforts being both equitable and accessible. Additionally, Allie likes to nerd out about programming specifications: as Data Projects Manager for Family Health Initiatives, she worked on an HMIS implementation for Volunteers of America’s Safe Return program; as Data Manager for Your Way Home Montgomery County, she identified an issue with a national-level report for HUD. Allie has a Bachelor of Science in Sociology from Drexel University and a Master’s of Art Degree in Sociology from Rutgers University. She’s looking forward to expanding the reach of her work to support Bitfocus communities in finding solutions to their most pressing issues.
As a Project Manager on the Professional Services team, Joshua brings two years of HMIS and CES experience and four years of experience in international policy and development. Most recently, Joshua was the Coordinated Entry Program Manager at the CoC and HMIS lead agency for the Monterey/San Benito County CoC, where he oversaw the development and expansion of the Coordinated Entry System. Additionally, Joshua has valuable experience in policy development, advocacy, and analysis. Joshua has a B.A. in Spanish from Utah State University and an M.A. in International Policy and Development from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies.
